Customer information

  • This business is 100% internet/mail order and email is the only form of contact
  • I do not have time to take personal callers, there is no shop to visit, no cues to 'try out', and nobody is allowed in the workshop. So please do not ask
  • I do not take phone calls because I would end up on the phone all day. So please do not ask
  • Finally, please do not ask me any questions until you have read all the sections thoroughly. The answers are usually all there...

Customer satisfaction

Please rest assured that all emails are answered, and any questions that need asking can be dealt with to your complete satisfaction.

99% of customers are happy dealing with me on this basis, but I am aware that some people prefer the 'personal' touch, and would rather phone or visit. I simply do not do this, so if you're one of the 1%, then I'm afraid you need to go elsewhere... :(

Customer relations

You may also find my replies a little abrupt at times. Please bear in mind that I am always very busy, and I simply do not have time for idle chit chat. My replies will be clear, concise, and 'to the point'.

So please do not confuse this with rudeness or lack of interest. I read every email very carefully and take pride in replying to every enquiry with genuine honesty and a desire to help you make the right choices.

IMPORTANT

If you do not receive a reply to an email, send it again, because occasionally, one of four things may have happened:

  1. It was mistakenly sent to my spam folder and I did not actually see it.
  2. My reply was mistakenly sent to your spam folder. So check that.
  3. There is some kind of block on your server that prevents my replies getting through. So check that.
  4. Your email address, as set up on your email client, is wrong. This has happened before where I have replied, but the address does not exist. So check your address!
