What Extensions?

Extensions are not mandatory and you can manage without them.

However, it's probably advisable to have your own because there will come a time when the standard table equipment either isn't good enough. Or maybe isn't there at all!

The best extensions are designed to screw into your cue, giving you a superior feel to the push-on type.

The benefit here is that you are able to use your own cue/tip, with a clean and solid contact, to play those, sometimes, crucial shots.

Mini butts are very common these days, almost essential, giving you an extra few inches so you can play those awkward shots that are just out of reach. Saves using the dreaded rest time and time again.

Telescopic extensions are also useful as they enable you to reach almost every possible shot on the table with your own cue, meaning you may never need to use the dodgy 'house' long extensions again.

F1 Extensions

I have developed new telescopic extensions (pictured above), which are stylish and feel superior to any others available.

Designed to fit either the cue bottom OR the shaft, enabling you to play just about any shot on the table.

The fact they also fit the shaft, makes them even more versatile. For example, of particular interest to pool players, the butt can be slipped off and a mini butt fitted to the shaft to 'lose' a few inches for those 'tight' spots you sometimes get.

Apart from offering these extra features, the specially shaped butt/handle makes it feel like a 'proper' cue. And they look good...

Conclusion

  • You can get by without extensions. Some people never use them.
  • But maybe one day, when you miss the black in that important match, you'll wish you had one...
