Key Features
#1
Critical Selection
![]() |
- Ash or Maple is used for the shaft and is selected to the highest standards for both visual appearance, but more importantly, for correct playing qualities
- Highest quality 'Black' Ebony is used for the butt and is usually black right through, but may occasionally have small colour variations. No dyes or 'fault covering' lacquers are used to hide the natural features of this beautiful and wonderful feeling wood.
#2
Time Intensive Techniques
![]() |
- Shafts are carefully tapered in stages and left each time so that the natural stresses in the wood can settle, thus avoiding unnecessary warping
- p.s. It may look like I lost my arm in a freak planing accident, but it's there turning the cue as I plane it!
#3
Highly Skilled Craftsmanship
|
- Butts, usually Black Ebony, are individually hand spliced onto the shaft to the very highest levels of craftsmanship for an unbeatable look and feel
- Splice points are made even, which is a skill in itself, and a feature that sets these cues apart from others
#4
Innovative Joint Design
![]() |
- For jointed cues, *NEW* unique 'secret' F1 joint system
- See how it works - F1 Rapid Joint System
#5
Butt End Finish
![]() |
- Standard Nameplate - Antique Ivory effect, engraved and set deep into butt
- F1 joint fitted (brass F1 shown) to accept new F1 extensions
- Skilfully shaped by hand and gently contoured for a beautifully comfortable fit in your hand. Feels 'right' as soon as you pick it up
- Or fitted with a solid matching wood cap (no joint) if you prefer
#6
Personal Nameplates
![]() |
- Personalise your cue with any name you want. Can never be rubbed off or worn away
- Set deep into the cue, but finished flush with the surface so you cannot feel any rough edges or uneven surfaces
- Reduces the chance of theft because names are permanent and cannot be removed without damage to the cue
- Can be 'retro' fitted to your old cue
Any name you want, any colour you want...
#7
Traditional Finishing Techniques
![]() |
- Traditional oil finishing gives each cue a super smooth finish, and attractive appearance
- It also helps to prevent the cue from drying out, and will mature to a rich golden finish on shafts
- Regular oiling will help feed the wood and keep it in prime condition
